Assist in providing robust part/assembly mechanical design to achieve world-class products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing detailed 2D and 3D drawings and specifications for products using 3D CAD software. Products may include electronic devices, accessories, soft goods (leather and fabric-related), and/or a combination of both.
  • Collaborate with the internal product development team on material selection, part design, manufacturing feasibility, and cosmetic requirements of new parts and tool design.
  • Support the generation of fully tolerance 2D drawings for tooling suppliers prior to mass production for products with demanding geometric and cosmetic requirements.
  • Maintain and update the complete CAD database for new projects, ensuring all engineering changes are documented.
  • Assist in managing and completing Mechanical Design to achieve world-class products.
  • Work together with the product development team and Process Engineer to prepare drawings for prototypes and production jigs and fixtures.
  • Participate in the product development process by providing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis on client specifications and offering design recommendations.
  • Support the operation team in fixing/debugging product design issues to ensure smooth production.
  • Assist in generating production specification and validation documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD packages such as SolidWorks is essential.
  • Basic understanding of raw material properties.
  • Familiarity with design flow and procedures.
  • Awareness of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, metals fabrication, and secondary finishing processes.
  • Ability to work in a product development team of engineers as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented work ethic.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.

PCH is seeking a (Senior) Program Manager (PM) to oversee complex and multi-disciplinary hardware development programs.
This position involves managing cross-functional teams working to develop new consumer products for our clients from RFQ, concept verification, design verification and validation, through production to end of lifecycle. A (Senior) PM ensures project success by scoping, planning, and coordinating project activities, managing the communication of schedules, budget, goals and deliverables to the project team, and maintaining a continuous dialogue with the client throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • A degree in an engineering field, or working knowledge of product development
    principles gained through work experience.

The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) will coordinate Product Development (PD) programs by managing project planning & execution.  The EPM will work with cross-functional teams including Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Tooling and Process Engineering, and the Sourcing Team to lead PD programs through the development cycle.

The EPM is responsible for delivering product development programs to DFM stage, where they will be transitioned to a Client Focused Team in the Manufacturing Business Unit.

The EPM will own their assigned Programs including delivery to plans, budgets & priorities and will also be responsible to ensure project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Main customer point-of-contact for assigned programs.
  • Drive and guide client to make reasonable and executable product-related decisions.
  • Develop a high-quality relationship with the Client from project conception through to completion of product development and DFM.
