London hardware startups to meet on the next great consumer electronics

Today we announced that we will host a PCH Hardware Meetup at Campus London on May 21, between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.

The meetup will attract London’s best makers, designers, engineers, technology enthusiasts, marketers and designers to network and talk about the present and future of the hardware space.

Speaking at the May meetup will be Emily Brooke of London-based Blaze and Bethany Koby of London based Technology Will Save Us.

The two founders will be discussing the London hardware scene, along with their own entrepreneurial journey bringing their product ideas to life. Attendees will also be given time to pitch their startups and ideas to the room before the networking period of the evening begins.

“The London startup community is one of the best in the world and we’re looking forward to connecting with makers and hackers in the area. Any time you get a bunch of smart people in the same room together – even in an informal setting – great things happen.”

Katherine Hague, VP of Community Engagement and Hackathons, PCH

This is the first meetup that PCH has hosted in London, with previous events taking place in New York, San Francisco, Kitchener-Waterloo, Dublin, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

The event will give the London startup community a small taste of what they can expect the upcoming London PCH Hardware Hackathon which will be taking place over two days in London October 17 -19th.

PCH Founder and CEO Liam Casey said:

“London has an established startup scene and we want to harness some of that energy for this meet up. Meetups are a great place to share ideas and meet other passionate entrepreneurs. ”

This is a free event. RSVP is required and can be completed here.
