PCH Internships

We invest for the future by investing in our workforce

Our continued success and growth relies on best in class university graduate recruitment. Our internship programs offer new graduates a unique cultural and working experience in China’s Pearl River Delta while collaborating with our teams on a wide range of projects.

Stanford Engineering Internship

Our Stanford Engineering Internship takes on product design students from Stanford University for a three month work placement. The graduates fit in very well at PCH as they come skilled in many of PCH’s key focus areas. These young professionals are placed in client teams and function as a support for all aspects along the process from design to engineering and manufacturing, as well as being able to take part in every phase of the development cycle.

“Working at PCH is a great opportunity because it really shows the whole process from beginning to EOL. It can educate you not only about what it is like to work in China but also how to successfully manage and launch a product.” Reid Miller, Intern 2010

The Farmleigh Fellowship

The Farmleigh Fellowship is a work-study program established for young Irish professionals seeking a career in the fast paced Asian business environment. Each student works towards an MBS in Asian Business at University College Cork, Ireland and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and completes a five month work placement with his or her sponsor company.

PCH is a proud sponsor of the highly driven students on the Farmleigh Fellowship. The program addresses Ireland’s need to develop a critical mass of skilled professionals in this thriving region. PCH helps students gain firsthand experience of Asia through business engagement, giving them the opportunity to kickstart their careers in international business.

The aim of this program is to expand the relations between Asia and the world of Irish business, a value that is shared by PCH.

“The Farmleigh Fellowship has given me incredible access to the Asian operating environment. This is something that is vital to the future of Ireland but that is difficult to achieve without a platform like PCH where I have learned everything I know about Asian business.” Danielle Scully, Intern 2011
